Warranty
Built to hold up.
Your mattress should support your sleep for years, not slowly betray you from underneath.
Sleep Cult mattresses include a 15-year limited warranty covering qualifying manufacturing defects and workmanship issues. This warranty exists to protect you if something is genuinely wrong with the way the mattress was made.
15-Year Limited Warranty
Every Sleep Cult mattress includes a 15-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase.
This warranty applies only to mattresses purchased directly from Sleep Cult by the original purchaser.
Proof of purchase may be required when submitting a warranty claim.
What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers qualifying defects in materials or workmanship, including:
- Body impressions greater than 1 inch that are not caused by improper support, misuse, or normal softening over time
- Foam splitting or cracking under normal use
- Manufacturing defects in the mattress cover or construction
- Defects caused by workmanship or materials
If your mattress has a covered defect, Sleep Cult will review the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.
Depending on the situation, this may include repair, replacement, partial replacement, or another fair solution.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, comfort preferences, or damage caused by misuse, improper care, or inadequate support.
Typical exclusions include:
- Normal softening over time
- Comfort preference
- Damage caused by misuse or abuse
- Burns, cuts, stains, tears, or liquid damage
- Damage caused by improper care or cleaning
- Damage caused by an improper base or foundation
- Damage caused by improper handling or storage, including sharp folding or forced bending. Normal flexing during proper use on a suitable adjustable bed frame is not considered misuse.
- Mattresses purchased secondhand or from unauthorized sellers
- Claims made by anyone other than the original purchaser
Normal wear and comfort changes can happen over time. That does not automatically mean the mattress is defective.
Proper Support Matters
Your mattress must be used on a suitable base. Suitable options include:
- A supportive platform bed
- A suitable mattress foundation
- A properly supported slatted frame, with centre support where required
- A correctly sized adjustable bed frame designed to support a hybrid mattress
Choose a base that matches your mattress size and supports the combined weight of the mattress and sleepers. Follow the base manufacturer’s setup and weight-limit instructions.
Using a suitable adjustable bed frame does not, by itself, void your mattress warranty. Damage caused by improper support or misuse is not covered.
If you are unsure whether your setup is suitable, contact us and we can help review it.
Warranty vs. Comfort Preference
The warranty is designed to cover defects, not personal comfort preference.
If the mattress feels too firm, too soft, or simply is not the right fit for your body, that falls under the sleep trial or return policy, not the warranty.
The 365-night trial is there so you can decide whether the mattress is right for you at home.
The warranty is there to protect you if the mattress has a qualifying defect.

If your claim qualifies, we will determine the appropriate resolution.

FAQ
How long is the Sleep Cult mattress warranty?
Sleep Cult mattresses include a 15-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers qualifying manufacturing defects and workmanship issues, including body impressions greater than 1 inch that are not caused by improper support, misuse, or normal softening over time, foam splitting or cracking under normal use, and manufacturing defects in the cover or construction.
Does the warranty cover comfort preference?
No. Comfort preference is not considered a warranty defect.
If the mattress is not the right fit for you, that falls under the 365-night trial and return policy.
Does normal softening count as a defect?
No. Normal softening over time is expected and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Do I need a proper foundation?
Yes. Use a supportive platform bed, mattress foundation, properly supported slatted frame, or adjustable bed frame. The base must match your mattress size, be suitable for a hybrid mattress, and support the combined weight of the mattress and sleepers. Slatted frames should have proper centre support where required.
Using a suitable adjustable bed frame does not, by itself, void your mattress warranty. Damage caused by improper support or misuse is not covered.
What do I need to submit a claim?
Please provide your order number, checkout email, a description of the issue, and clear photos showing the concern.
Photos of your mattress setup or foundation may also be requested.
What happens if my claim is approved?
If your claim qualifies, Sleep Cult will determine the appropriate resolution based on the issue. This may include repair, replacement, partial replacement, or another fair solution.
Can someone else submit a warranty claim if they bought the mattress secondhand?
No. Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser who bought directly from Sleep Cult.
